Prakas actively engages in, and supports, the development of Buddhist Studies in Australia. Prakas has a particular focus on:
- the development of the Buddhist Studies discipline in Australia,
- methods and approaches to Buddhist studies, and
- the confluence of web based technologies and Buddhist studies.
